 This beautiful petrified wood is from Indonesia.  It is harvested from river banks and forests .  Marine mollusks bore holes in the wood that is replaced with chalcedony as the wood becomes petrified .  Beautiful patterns and bore holes filled with chalcedony and crystals make these stones eye catching .  Cabochons cut by Paul Rossman .  Set in sterling and fine silver this pendant is reversible.  The backplate features a hand forged evergreen and wolf head.
