Petrified Palm Wood is an ancient fossil.  It is created when ancient plant material is replaced by silicate minerals, like microcrystalline quartz over millions of years . Unlike traditional petrified wood which trees rings it has a distinctive or “dotty” or spotted textured .  Palms featured rod like support structures.  These bundles when cut and polished appear as spots, lines or dots.  Palm wood comes in beautiful earthy colors ranging from tan, cream and red to deep browns and blacks .  A beautiful stone with an amazing story .  These high quality perfectly matched cabs feature beautiful color and pattern.  Open backplate .
