A unique sterling and fine silver pendant featuring a Polish Flint cabochon cut by our lapidary artist Paul Rossman. Polish Flint is a semiprecious, hard , sedimentary quartz gemstone that is a member of the chalcedony family . What is rare in this cabochon is the internal layering . This type of flint called banded flint only occurred in Poland 160 million years ago. This irregular banding creates extremely picturesque internal structures making very special designer cabochons . Pendant measures 2 1/2” x 1 1/8”. Accented with a hand forged sterling silver leaf .
